Facebook Assessment of the Finnish Copyright System
Cupore assesses the operation of the Finnish copyright system on the basis of annually changing themes.
This also involves continuously developing the methods for assessing the system in order to better support political decision-making and strategic planning. The work is based on the methodological framework developed in the context of Cupore’s project Assessing the operation of copyright and related rights systems.
The goal of the project portfolio is to produce a broad and continuously updated information base on the operation of the Finnish copyright system. This will increase the transparency of the copyright system, and add to the general understanding of the system’s operation.
The assessment work started in 2018.

Assessing the Operation of Copyright and Related Rights Systems
The project for establishing a methodology for a systematic assessment of national copyright and related rights systems was conducted at Cupore between 2009 and 2016. The objective of the project was to establish a set of guidelines for the assessment of national copyright systems’ operation in order to support the development of copyright and related rights policies and strategies.
