Researcher, we invite you to answer our survey on copyright challenges in scientific research!

News   6.3.2024

The response time is until March 27, 2024.

The Center for Cultural Policy Research Cupore investigates researchers´ experiences on copyright challenges in conducting scientific research in Finland by the means of a survey. The topics of the survey concern researchers’ copyright knowledge, copyrighted material used in research, the use of artificial intelligence in research, the availability and open publishing of research publications, and research integrity.

The survey is open to everyone carrying out scientific or artistic research in Finland, regardless of whether they work full-time or part-time. You can do research in an employment relationship, on assignment, with a grant or as an independent researcher. We hope for answers from representatives of different branches of science.

The deadline for responding to the questionnaire has been extended to 27th of March 2024! Answering takes about 20–30 minutes, and you can respond in Finnish, Swedish or English. You may freely share the survey link.

All responses will be treated anonymously and separately from the respondent’s e-mail address or other personally identifiable information.

The survey is carried out as part of Cupore´s research project on copyright issues related to scientific research. The research is funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Based on the answers, it is possible to outline possible development needs in the copyright system.
