New international networks for Cupore

News   16.11.2017

Cupore has joined the newly established Association of the Compendium of Cultural Policies and Trends (CCPT).

CCPT was set up to continue the management and financial support of the Compendium database as a multi-stakeholder organisation to ensure the sustainalble funding and political independence of the database in the future.

Compendium was originally conceived as an independent information and monitoring platform in 1998, financed earlier by the Council of Europe and managed by EricArts. The new Association will continue the development of the Compendium content and presentation to ensure that it may continue to serve its purpose as a research tool in the field of cultural policy.

Cupore joined the CCPT Association as a stakeholder member and is represented in the Board of the Association by Cupore’s Director Marjo Mäenpää, who is also the first chairperson of the Board.
