Arts and Culture Barometer 2023: Survey of the different types of work performed by artists
Respond to the survey by 15th of October!
The theme of this year’s Arts and Culture Barometer is the different types of work performed by artists. We invite professional artists in different fields of the arts to respond to our open online survey.
The survey looks at:
- Specific artforms and working in multiple fields of the arts
- The different types of work performed by artists and the types of sectors in which they work, and
- Different income sources and earnings models
The survey is open to all professional artists.

The deadline for responding to the survey is 15th of October 2023! The survey is available in Finnish, Swedish or English. The link to the survey can be shared freely.
After completing the questionnaire, you can participate in a prize drawing for the chance to win one of 20 Museum Cards by providing your contact information.
All responses will be treated anonymously, and they cannot be connected to your e-mail address or other identifying information.
The results of the Arts and Culture Barometer will be presented at a discussion forum to be held in April 2024.
The Arts and Culture Barometer is an annual survey that aims to gather the opinions of those working in the fields of the arts about topical issues regarding art policies. The barometer has been conducted by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) together with the Center for Cultural Policy Research Cupore since 2015.
