News   31.8.2022

The Center for Cultural Policy Research Cupore invites artists and creative workers in the audiovisual field as well as audiovisual production companies to respond to surveys on copyright in the audiovisual field.

There is a separate survey for each group of respondents: one for artists and creative workers and another for representatives of production companies. It should take about 20–30 to answer the surveys which are available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The surveys will be open until 30.9.

Artists and creative workers: Tell us your opinion on the fairness of contracts in the audiovisual field

Digitalisation and new methods of distribution have had an important impact on the production of audiovisual works and on terms of contracts in the field. The Center for Cultural Policy Research Cupore is conducting a survey to collect artists’ and creative workers’ opinions and experiences related to agreements in audiovisual productions, especially concerning copyrights.

The survey is aimed at artists and creative workers who have been involved in or whose works have been used in audiovisual productions, i.e. movies, videos and television programs. Your experiences are important so that we can obtain information on the fairness of current contractual practices and identify the copyright system’s development needs.

The questionnaire is anonymous, and the results are reported in such a way that an individual respondent cannot be identified.
