Nathalie Lefever is a researcher at Cupore. After a Master of Laws degree obtained at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) in Belgium and an LL.M. from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, she started a researcher career at the Research Centre in Information, Law and Society (CRIDS) at the University of Namur (Belgium). She joined Cupore in 2010 to work on a project for assessing the operation of copyright and related rights systems, which resulted in a large set of publications, in particular a Methodology Framework for Assessing the Operation of Copyright and Related Rights Systems. She is currently taking part in a project aiming to develop the assessment of the Finnish copyright system to better inform decision-making. Her area of interest ranges from personal data protection to copyright enforcement and the influence of new information technologies on legal systems.
