Assessing the Operation of Copyright and Related Rights Systems: Results of the piloting of the methodology framework in Finland

The project for establishing a methodology for a systematic assessment of national copyright and related rights systems was conducted at Cupore between 2009 and 2016. The objective of the project was to establish a set of guidelines for the assessment of national copyright systems’ operation in order to support the development of copyright and related rights policies and strategies.

The pilot phase of the project was carried out in 2013-2015. During the piloting process, the indicators specified in the methodology framework were put into practice in Finland.

Altogether 37 reports presenting the results of the pilot phase are published in the web publication series of Cupore.
